Our Pro Sports Level 1 E-Course offers a comprehensive, sport-agnostic introduction to Motor Preferences using examples from a variety of sports and athletic disciplines. This course is designed for coaches, trainers, strength & conditioning professionals, and movement specialists looking to build a deeper understanding of how athletes naturally move.
Participants will be introduced to the foundational concepts of flexion and extension, the Aerial vs. Terrestrial movement spectrum, the Move Dial, and several core Motor Preferences. Practical exercises and movement examples are included throughout the course to help reinforce application and understanding.
This course covers approximately half of the core Motor Preferences. The remaining preferences are covered in the Pro Sports Level 2 E-Course.
If you are specifically a baseball or softball coach, we recommend the Baseball/Softball Level 1 E-Course, which is sport-specific and covers all 8 Motor Preferences in detail.

Pro Sports Level 1 – Motor Preferences™ by Volodalen
Most training systems focus on technique.
But when progress doesn’t hold, tension builds, or injuries repeat, the issue is often deeper: the athlete’s natural movement organization is being ignored.
Pro Sports Level 1 gives coaches and performance professionals a science-backed foundation in Motor Preferences™, helping you understand how each athlete is built to move before you attempt to change mechanics.
In this course, you’ll learn:
• The principles of flexion and extension
• The Aerial vs. Terrestrial movement spectrum
• How to identify core motor preferences
• How to apply the Move Dial
• How to integrate preference-based strategies into training
Designed for coaches, trainers, and movement professionals, this course provides practical tools to improve efficiency, reduce recurring breakdowns, and build performance that lasts.
