TESTIMONIALS & QUOTES

Arizona State University Softball Assistant Coach

…It's all about the very simple details of what each player is doing—their preferences, what makes them go individually—and then it kind of makes the coaching part a little bit easier. Once you dig into it, once you figure out what the player likes to do, our job is to put them in a position where they can get to their best positions on a routine basis, whether that’s in hitting, pitching, or on defense, and then let them go be the great athletes that they are…

We strive to help our players grow to be as great as possible and work towards their full potential. Working with Motor Preferences has provided a roadmap to facilitate their growth. Looking at the players through the lens of MP allows us to observe their movements and work drills that are more suitable for each player. MP is like a cheat code to help the players get to their optimal performance. We have had players adjust how they took the ball out from the glove (based on the Motor Preference) and they increase accuracy and velocity. Hitters have changed how they load based on their preference and immediately had better results. We have a few players, that felt and moved more fluid and effortless when they learned to be in their preference. It can be magical and provide instant results

Nevada University Baseball Head Coach

Motor Preferences has helped us truly understand our hitters and how they move at a foundational level. Players and coaches are seeking individuality for player development now more than ever, and Motor preferences has really helped bring that to life.

It’s the first time in 7–8 years of working in softball that I haven’t had a player require postseason surgery. By integrating Motor Preferences into our program, I’ve seen a real difference in how athletes stay healthy, recover faster, and perform at a higher level. This approach has been a game-changer for both injury prevention and overall player development.

Thank you so much, Nick and Matt for coming out to CoMo for Motor Preferences Level 2. Absolutely game chaning.
I could not be more grateful for MPE. It has filled in so many gaps for me and made me a better coach.

Melissa Lombardi

Oregon University Softball Head Coach

The team at Motor Preferences Experts helped us embrace individuality through their training. Recognizing the unique biomechanical characteristics of each individual athlete will maximize performances. The MPE program taught us to focus on the best approach for each player to elevate their game individually, and then unite our strengths as a team!

DJ Gasso

Arkansas University Softball Assistant Coach

MPE is elite! It is truly the best way to bridge the gap between promoting individualistic style and minimizing a coach’s philosophy. Each player is different, and MPE makes it simple for each person to reach their maximum potential.

Thoroughly enjoyed spending time this past week with Motor Preferences. Learned a lot challenged our thought process and we are excited to move forward with this to help grow and to continue to build our program. It definitely opened our lens to a different layer.

Motor Preference has been the backbone of our growth here at South Carolina. It has shaped our coaching, challenged our thinking, and become the core of our player development. Because of Motor Preference, our players step on the field with greater freedom and confidence and that has been a driving force behind our success as a team. We are extremely grateful for their partnership.

The Motor Preferences Expert Level 1 course not only equips you with transformative knowledge but also allows you to dive straight into practical application. The simplicity of the teachings makes the learning process enjoyable, ensuring that you can immediately put what you've learned into action. It's a refreshing and effective approach for anyone, not only for athletes, to provide invaluable insights for anyone seeking relief from pain or enhancing overall well-being. Highly recommended for those eager to take their training, coaching and health to the next level!

My experience with attending the Motor Experts Training is going to allow for additional doors to be opened in training our athletes. Each individual player will be able to communicate and identify the way their body moves and apply it to the sport. As a coach, we can now build individual profiles for all players and promote what is needed for each.

Game-changing and Smiles. Those two words capture the power of the in person motor preference course that I have recently completed. David and Nick are outstanding in not only teaching and sharing incredible, transformational insights, they have a commitment to excellence and make sure each course participant has a great experience. They define servant leadership. The tools learned create a wonderful environment for exploring and help an athlete own and optimize their movements. My athletes feel an immediate, game-changing impact--in freedom of movement and in injury prevention. Moving in profile brings the biggest smiles. I'm forever changed and I will not train an athlete until I take her/him through a motor preference assessment and determine their individual motor profile. Game-changing and Smiles. I'm eternally grateful.

Assitant Coach - Pitching - Montclair State University

Integrating insights from Motor Preferences Experts has revolutionized how we handle our pitching staff by aligning training with each athlete's innate movement preferences. By transcending standardized models, and revealing and prioritizing individual movement tendencies, we've unlocked peak natural potential while promoting overall health and avoiding injury.  This targeted approach optimizes force production and release consistency by ensuring every movement adheres to the player's inherent patterns, effectively elevating neurological permissions for elite output. This deep level of personalization has also provided our athletes with a profound understanding of their own movement, fostering greater self-awareness and autonomy. Consequently, our pitchers have experienced improvements in performance, characterized by increased velocity, sharper command, and more confident mound presence. By neutralizing mechanical inefficiencies, we foster accelerated skill acquisition and reduced fatigue, allowing our staff to maintain elite durability throughout the demanding collegiate season.
