Motor Preferences Experts, David Genest

In early October, David Genest will travel to Lausanne to represent Motor Preferences Experts (MPE) during a series of high-profile Volodalen events. More than just conferences, these gatherings will highlight the shared mission of MPE and Volodalen: helping athletes unlock their full potential by combining science, movement, and individualized performance strategies.

The program will begin on October 3 at the prestigious Olympic Museum with a conference on the individualization of training. In a setting that embodies sporting excellence, participants will discover Volodalen’s pioneering research and its exclusive expertise with elite baseball players in the United States. For MPE, this will be an opportunity to affirm its role as the American leader in Motor Preferences™, demonstrating how science can be applied on the field to elevate athletes’ performance while reducing the risk of injury.

On October 4, the brand-new Volodalen Lab in Crissier will open its doors to the public. Visitors will enjoy immersive experiences, meet health and performance specialists, and take part in interactive activities. For MPE, this open house will echo the same approach it is building in the United States, creating spaces where athletes, coaches, and experts come together to learn, experiment, and grow.

That same evening, the Crissier Lab will host a round-table on running, health, and performance, featuring top specialists and the renowned athlete Maude Mathys. This event will be a moment of authentic exchange, where science meets passion. By participating, MPE will reinforce its vision: building bridges between disciplines, sharing knowledge, and bringing innovative methods like Motor Preferences™ to a broader athletic community.

In Lausanne, MPE’s presence will not only be about attending, it will be about showing that the future of performance is personal, evidence-based, and already taking shape on both sides of the Atlantic.
